I was born in Sneads Ferry, NC (the home of the annual Shrimp Festival and Sneads Ferry sneakers.) Feel free to ask me about either one!  My family moved to Woodbridge, VA and we lived there from my junior high through high school years.  I moved back here many years later when my husband, John, a USMC Officer was given orders to Quantico, VA.  We both love this area and when military retirement time came around we decided to settle in Fredericksburg, VA.  John works at Quantico and I am doing what I love--working in real estate.

After many years of moving around as an Army brat and then as an Army wife, I finally settled in Virginia about ten years ago.  We moved to Fredericksburg about three years ago and love it here!
